Craftsmanship and Hospitality: These are two words that mean a lot to us here at Midwest UX 2016. As members of the UX community, we love crafting meaningful, delightful experiences that make life just a little bit easier. And as Midwesterners generally (and Louivillians specifically), we love to welcome folks from far and wide, show them around, and make them feel right at home. We always look forward to sharing what we’ve learned along the way, and listening to what others can teach us.
As a MWUX16 volunteer, you will be an integral part of crafting a memorable, informative, and fun experience for this year’s attendees, and showing everyone the kind of hospitality that keeps folks coming back to this conference year after year. You’ll be the face of MWUX16, and proudly represent our discipline and our lovely city.
MWUX16 is seeking student and professional volunteers willing to dedicate their time and energy during our three-day conference, October 20-22. Volunteer responsibilities will include 9-12 hours of work, such as: registration, guiding our visitors to and from the venues, setting up and tearing down rooms prior to and following events, and support during events and excursions. In return, you will receive a discounted conference registration, a conference t-shirt, and the opportunity to attend conference events as your volunteer duties permit.
Deadline for applications is August 31.
